Napa Gold 1372 Spin-On Lube Filter
The NAPA Gold Oil Filters provide excellent engine protection when using conventional, synthetic, or synthetic-blended motor oils, as recommended by the original equipment (OE) vehicle manufacturer. These filters are suitable for normal and severe driving conditions, such as stop-and-go traffic, dirt roads, construction sites, short trips, and interstate travel.
The filters feature a glass-enhanced cellulose media that traps and holds 50% more contaminants than traditional economy filters. The 16-lb. bypass relief valve ensures a consistent flow of oil, even under high-pressure conditions.
The silicon anti-drain back valve is designed not to harden or become brittle, providing greater value and protection over standard nitrile valves used in lesser-quality economy filters. This filter can trap up to 50% more dirt and contaminants than ProSelect, offering the best combination of capacity and efficiency for severe conditions.
When applicable, the NAPA Flexible Silicone Anti-drainback Valve protects against dry engine starts, even past the traditional filter change interval. Laboratory test performance per ISO 4548-12 shows that the NAPA Gold # 1515 filter can hold up to 18 grams of dirt and is 99% efficient at 23 microns.
For the master pack version, use the # 1372MP filter when following the OE-recommended oil change intervals.
The NAPA Gold Oil Filters are a cross-reference to the Wix 51372 filter, which features the same glass-enhanced cellulose media that traps and holds 50% more contaminants than traditional economy filters.
